Charles Auffrey, 43, of Dieppe and formerly of Pré-d’en-Haut, passed away on Friday, March 14, 1997 at the Dr Georges-L Dumont Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of George Auffrey and the late Anna (Gautreau) Auffrey. He worked for the New Brunswick Liquor Corporaton (Main Street, Moncton). He attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Kidney Association.
He is survived by his father, George Auffrey and step mother, Anita (Gautreau) Auffrey; one sister, Georgette (Bernard) LeBlanc of Pré-d’en-Haut; two step sisters, Debra (Leonard) Jewer of Toronto, Ont. and Dianne Sleeves of Vancouver, B. C.; one niece, Sophie; two nephews, Marc and Martin.
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook with Funeral mass at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut on Monday, March 17, 1997 at 4 p.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery, Pré-d'en-Haut.
